Spectrophotometry

GEMaC is equipped with a Perkin Elmer LAMBDA 950 dual-beam (2-channel) grating spectrophotometer.

• Analysis modes: Transmission, reflection (variable angles from 6° to 68°), and scattering.
• Thermal environment: Cryostat/Janis cell enabling transmission measurements over a temperature range from 12 K to 800 K.
• Accessories: Versatile sample holders.

The instrumentation allows for the characterization of various types of materials:

• Thin films
• Crystals
• Chemical solutions and suspensions
