Mechanical workshop

From conception to integration, the service takes care of the whole range of mechanical activities in the frame of scientific instrumentation projects and experimental setups.

The studies, conceptions and modelling are performed with computer-aided design (CAD) tools including the following constraints: ultrahigh vacuum, high pressure, high temperature, cryogenics, precision motion, in the field of magnetism, optics and transport.

Fabrication is realised with digital command machining, operated using computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) or conventional machines.

The service is also available in the context of integration and tests.
